In a pivotal project for the U.S. State Department’s “Students Abroad” initiative, our team was entrusted with the task of designing the initial UI that would be adopted across all five U.S. Department of State websites, spanning critical functions such as Visa applications, Passport services, and more. Our work encompassed a comprehensive overhaul, involving the creation of an intuitive and cohesive design layout, meticulous UI design, and stringent adherence to 508 compliance standards. The paramount focus was on enhancing usability while maintaining a consistent visual identity, leading to the development of detailed style guides that would unify the user experience across the various platforms.
