Medicaid Application

Our team was tasked with enhancing the Medicaid application to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for both healthcare providers and patients. The existing system allowed for the sharing of medical history among doctors but lacked a cohesive and intuitive interface.

Our primary goal was to create a cohesive and visually appealing design that would facilitate seamless information sharing among medical professionals while also introducing user-centric features. To address this, we implemented an intuitive dashboard that acted as a single point of management for users. This dashboard allowed patients to effortlessly communicate with their healthcare providers and schedule virtual visits, predating the widespread adoption of platforms like Zoom and Google Meetings. The end result was a user-centric Medicaid application that not only improved the efficiency of medical data sharing but also enhanced the patient experience by providing a convenient and secure means of virtual healthcare interaction.

By focusing on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, our project not only enhanced the functionality of the Medicaid application but also improved the overall satisfaction of both patients and healthcare providers. This case study showcases the successful transformation of a utilitarian medical records sharing system into a comprehensive healthcare communication platform. Through thoughtful design choices, we were able to bridge the gap between patients and their healthcare providers, creating a more accessible and efficient means of medical history sharing and virtual healthcare visits.

Our approach not only met but exceeded user expectations, ultimately resulting in a more cohesive and patient-centric healthcare experience that predated the widespread adoption of similar technologies in today’s digital landscape.
